Obituary for Carol M. Reynolds

PITTSFIELD-Carol M. Reynolds, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family in Bangor, Maine.

Carol was born on July 17, 1942, in Clinton, Maine, the daughter of the late Verne and Marie (Hunt) Frost. She graduated from Clinton High School and was named the most athletic of her class. She was very artistic, had a strong spirit and had a deep love for her family. She was a dedicated member of the Calvary Baptist Church, attending there for over 40 years. She was also a member of TOPS.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Edward Reynolds Sr; sons, Edward Reynolds Jr and wife Diane of Matamoras, PA and Jeffery Reynolds and wife Jennifer of Knoxville, MD; daughter, Sherry Crocker and husband Adam of Clinton; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Judith Murray of FL and Verna Frost of Newport.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her beloved son, Stephen Reynolds.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 573 North Main Street, Pittsfield, with Pastor Ted Bragg officiating. A gathering will follow in the church fellowship hall. All are welcome. A private committal will take place in the spring at the Village Cemetery, Peltoma Ave., Pittsfield.
