Pittsfield-Berkley Eugene Goodridge, 41, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was born on July 15, 1970, in Waterville, the son of Carroll and Thelma (Chase) Goodridge. He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Lawrence High School in Fairfield in 1988. He started working for the Maine Department of Transportation in Fairfield in 1989 and was still employed for them in their Plymouth location. Berkley enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, road trips to the beach and sitting around a campfire. One of his favorite things to do was to either talk about or look at cars and trucks. He spent many times going to car shows, car races, truck pulls and runs. He also enjoyed watching his daughter Sierra in field hockey and basketball games or playing her clarinet at the school concerts. He loved to play cowboys and aliens when she was little. He would even sit with her on the living room floor and play Barbies. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Sara Lee (LeBlanc) Goodridge of Pittsfield; daughter, Sierra Amber; brother, Alfred Huff and wife Sandra of Hartland; sisters, Gloria Page and husband Edward, Dwenda Perry and husband Robert, all of Clinton and Carolyn Denson of St. Albans; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; special friends, Rob and Lynn Perry of Benton and Randy and Jess Robinson of Palmyra; and many more friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a special nephew, Robert Page. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., with a time of reflection at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Avenue, Pittsfield, Maine, with the Rev. Matthew Bagley and Mary LaPan officiating. A committal service will be held in the spring at the Fairview Cemetery in Canaan.
