Obituary for Bryan Xavier Duncan

PALMYRA, MAINE-Bryan Xavier Duncan, 18, died on June 23, 2020, in Palmyra.

Xavier was born on December 10, 2001, in Front Royal, Virginia, the son of Bryan Duncan and Bonita Nesbitt Duncan. He played football throughout high school and was on the wrestling team. He recently graduated from Warren County High School in Virginia and moved to Maine to be with family friends, Shannon and Leketa.

Xavier had the biggest heart, more concerned about others than himself. He had a hard work ethic, always keeping himself busy with tinkering, repairing, remodeling, and doing all kinds of construction projects. He was very crafty on the forge. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, hunting and fishing. He especially liked being on the water of Douglas Pond.

He leaves behind his mother, Bonita Duncan and companion Joseph Miranda of WV; father, Bryan Duncan of VA; siblings: Kylie Duncan of WV, Adrianna Nesbitt of VA, and Nathaniel Duncan of VA; grandparents, Bruce and Cindy Cook of VA; grandfathers, Stuart Nesbitt of WV and Charles Duncan of VA; family friends, Shannon and Leketa Schilling of Palmyra; and countless aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Ruth Ann McKahn.

A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 5, at the Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, VA, 22630.
