Obituary for Lorraine I. Neal

ST.ALBANS-Lorraine I. Neal, 81, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019, at her home in St. Albans.

She was born on March 10, 1938, in St. Albans, a daughter of the late Hermon and Daisy Evelyn (Wyman) Nichols. She graduated from Hartland Academy with the class of 1957 and married her soulmate, Wayne Neal on June 27, 1958. They built their home in St. Albans and lived in the same home for 65 years. Sitting by the fire was a fun time for her and baking with Brittany was always special. She loved to laugh and she also enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Neal; two daughters: Linda Nelson and husband David of Palmyra and Sheila Neal of Exeter and her companion William Page Sr of Newport; three grandchildren: Michael Crosby and wife Amy, Tasha Swanson and husband George, and Brittany Crosby and her companion Jon Foster; 4 great-grandchildren: Daniel, Landyn, Nash, and Nevaeh; brother, Harvey Nichols and wife Kathy of both NH and SC; special nephew, Brady Brooks and wife Angie and their son, Kevin; nieces: Staci and Traci; nephews: Shannon and Travis; and her best friend, Pam Reynolds.

She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Clarence Eugene Nichols; and a niece, Jean.

At Lorraine’s request, there will be no services held.
