Obituary for Karen L. Fultz

ST. ALBANS-Karen L. Fultz, 77, died peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2019, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side at home in St. Albans, Maine.

Karen was born on March 18, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Millard and Genevieve (Lazarz) Rutkoski. She lived most of her life in Illinois, and moved to St. Albans a few years ago to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She enjoyed boating, bowling and playing cards. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Catholic Church and loved being a part of the family there.

She is survived by her children: William Kuban (Linda) of Park Forest, IL, Michelle Denbow and her husband Robert of St. Albans and Scott Kuban (Jennifer) of Roselle, IL; stepchildren: Daniel Stimis and partner Mary Beth Chaney and Annie Coleman; grandchildren: Samantha Jordan and husband Joshua, Tabatha Berry, Madison and Zachary Kuban, Tony Almaraz and wife Megan, Alex Almaraz, Leo Almaraz and Travis Coleman; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by husband, Clyde Fultz; her daughter, Laurel Kuban; two stepdaughters: Denise Stimis and Stacey Almaraz; and her brother, George Rutkoski and his wife, Loretta.

A committal will take place at the St. Peters Cemetery in Volo, Illinois, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Clyde Fultz.
